HIPO-NBAC Programme: success on the Book Festival
This year’s Budapest International Book Festival attracted over 60,000 visitors, and its Saturday programme was the most popular day in the Festival's history. A highlight of the professional programme – as the timing of the Book Festival coincided with the World Book and Copyright Day as well as World Intellectual Property Day – has been the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office's (HIPO) joint conference with the National Board Against Counterfeiting (NBAC), focusing on the challenges in copyright issues posed by the digital age.
